It would be tough for me to describe how exciting it was to discover Dr. Robert Lahm, about whom you can hear me gushing briefly during this week’s podcast.

It’s always nifty, of course, to run across somebody who truly “gets” what is happening in the land of microbusiness — especially since it seems to happen so rarely. But what’s better about Dr. Lahm is that he is an academic. And you know what that means, right?

I know of at least one report he’s researched and written that I’d dearly love to read, even if it is several years old now. And I’d be very interested in knowing if he has more research on entrepreneurial bootstrappers.

I have a feeling you’ll be hearing more from me about Dr. Robert Lahm.

Meanwhile, we have an encore appearance from Senator Mike Enzi’s Small Business Health Plans, new research on the various ways people acquire health insurance in dual-earner households and, of course, this week’s Policy Matters column.
